What a timely article. I appreciate you putting words to something I haven't been able to describe. It's not all the time, but as a retired person who doesn't have to work any longer, I am surprised at my mental fatigue that happens so often. Now I have a better understanding of the why. Thanks
This is a particularly fantastic episode of your newsletter! I feel less tired when I read your words and remember that you, and people like you, are also out there in the world spreading the hope, joy, and love. oxo
Really enjoyed this, thank you..however I do wonder whether is a new phenomenon, or one we could track through a variety of societal pinch points throughout history? Pondering this and would welcome your thoughts.
Thanks Lucy. I think the pervasive of it in almost every aspect of our lives, and the access and overload of constant information probably exacerbates it. But no doubt it has occurred before— so many things happen in cycles!

Jen, I very much appreciate this--and it's timely for me. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and for highlighting the HBR article.
Every time I read your articles, I can feel my shoulders relaxing and my jaw unclenching. Thank you!
Awww! Thanks so much! 💟
